UPDATE: Billie has been found. According to KTVU news: " A 12-year-old girl is safe at home Thursday morning and is believed to have been with friends since she was reported missing Monday after she failed to show up at school in San Francisco, police said." READ MORE...

This past Monday, Billie McGee never made it to S.R. Martin College Preparatory School, where she is in the seventh grade and on the honor roll.

Her mother Tina Brown says Billie has never runaway from home and that "someone took her." Her mom was working the night shift and was stuck at work and could not leave to take her to school, so she told her to take the bus instead. Apparently, Billie never made it to the bus.

Billie is described as 5-foot-5, African American and weighs 140 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a black and white jacket with a white collared shirt and black jeans, according to police. WATCH VIDEO

Back in December of last year, many people may recall the story of the missing pregnant Ohio Attorney. I remember hearing about her faking her abduction, but I was on break from the blog, and did not follow up any further. Well, attorney, Karyn McConnell, former city councilwoman from Toledo, is going to be sentenced on a misdemeanor charge for faking the whole kidnapped at gunpoint story.

Karyn McConnell-Hancock, 35 of Toledo, Ohio has been missing since Wednesday. She did not pick up her son at daycare, and she had some problems with a client who reportedly accused her of mismanagement of settlement money.

UPDATE 12/10/7: One of the national morning television news shows did a segment, interviewing a male family member perhaps her husband, or a family spokesperson.

I was listening to the Tom Joyner Show this morning and Latasha Norman’s father, Danny Bolden was interviewed by telephone, in an effort to keep his daughter’s story alive. Latasha Norman of Greenville, Mississippi has been missing since around November 13, 2007. She was last seen in Jackson, Mississippi. Bolden expressed frustration over the fact that the Natalie Holloways of the country receive constant national coverage on all network and cable television stations, and his daughter has not received similar attention.
