According to recent reports, Evander "The Real Deal" Holyfield is facing foreclosure on his $10 million dollar suburban Atlanta mansion and AP reports:

"the mother of one of his children is suing for unpaid child support, and a Utah consulting company has gone to court claiming the boxer failed to pay back more than a half million dollars for landscaping.

A legal notice that ran on Wednesday in a small local newspaper said Holyfield's estate will be auctioned off "at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash" at the Fayette County courthouse on July 1. The 54,000-square-foot home - located on Evander Holyfield Highway - has 109 rooms, including 17 bathrooms, three kitchens and a bowling alley.

Meanwhile, Holyfield's handlers allegedly told the mother of one of his children that he will no longer be able to make his $3,000-a-month support payment. Toi Irvin claims the boxer has already missed two payments, so she has gone to court seeking restitution." READ MORE...

What do they do will all of that money they make? Whatever happened to investing?

Remember the 7-year-old kid, Latarian Milton, who ran away with his grandmother’s SUV last month and sent police on a kiddie car chase? Well, he is in trouble again…a quote in this video from him: “It’s fun to do bad things.”

I am really starting to believe mental illness and behavior disorders are increasingly going undetected or ignored in the black community. If not offered, people need to start demanding help.

He has been hospitalized for mental health evaluation, because of his latest incident, which occurred in a Wal-Mart. He wanted chicken wings and his grandmother told him ‘no,’ so badazz proceeded to go in the food line and order his own chicken wings. When she intervened, he started hitting her. He is still facing grand theft auto charges for the 'joy ride' incident.

If you were listening to this video with your eyes closed, you would think it was a joke. I hope he and his family get the help they need, otherwise, ten years from now he is destined to be in the state or federal penitentiary or six feet under. After watching this video, I am puzzled as to why we know his name and why are cameras following him seeking and recording comments, as if he were an ADULT?

Critics of this ad are buzzing about the tight clothes and stilletos the young children wear in this advertisement. Do you see this as innocently creative advertisement? What about parents who buy these types of clothing for children, are they being irresponsible parents by buying clothes such as the child models have in Beyonce's House of Dereon children's clothing line? Do you find nothing wrong with the ad?

Conservative political pundit and columnist, Michelle Malkin's title of her column on the subject: "KIDDIE-PORN CHIC: BEYONCE'S TINY HO'S" was highly inappropriate, but I understand the point she is trying to make, and agree with most of her column. Beyonce, like most child stars, and I am speculating, may have missed most of her childhood due to performing, and probably matured quite fast and obviously sees nothing wrong with this ad, so I could see some justification as to why she would market her product in this fashion. I don't agree with how children are presented in the ad.

Malkin writes:

"If you thought the soft-porn image of Disney teen queen Miley Cyrus - wearing nothing but ruby-stained lips and a bedsheet - in Vanity Fair magazine was disturbing, you ain’t seen nothing yet. [The young models] are seductively posed and tarted up, JonBenet Ramsey-style, with lipstick, blush and face powder…The creepiness factor is heightened by the fact that women were responsible for marketing this child exploitation. So, what’s next? Nine-year-olds performing stripper routines?"

While I was standing behind the tape watching the marathon, there was this young girl, I'd say she was about 11 years old. Just swearing up a storm. She was with an adult whom clearly was within earshot of what she was saying. She learned it from someone.

Perhaps not her parents, but I thought about this commercial. Children don't always adopt their parent's habit or behavior, but it reminds us how parents' behavior can negatively influence their children. Some of us know a parent or are like a parent in this commercial. It has a powerful message. This commercial is from a Child Friendly Australia ad campaign.

1nbadad.jpgYesterday, “Nancy Grace” did a segment on former NBA player Jason Caffey and his child support suits and bankruptcy. The report is Caffey owes over $400,000 in child support payments for 10 children by 8 different women in 5 different states. And I guess these are the ones, as Nancy put it "that we know about." According to Grace, bankruptcy doesn't exempt a parent from paying child support.

They reported that he claims $11,000 as his monthly income and pays out almost $7,000 per month. Caffey, over the span of his eight-year career played professional basketball for the Chicago Bulls, the Bucks, and Warriors, they estimated his annual salary to be at least $5 Million per year, and he retired five years ago.

His college sweetheart and mother of his first child was on the show. It looks as if she has moved on, because she was photo’d in what appeared to be a wedding gown with a man, and perhaps a family photo with the guy, and a young boy. She reported when he worked, he paid his child support. After he retired, payments were inconsistent. This is one mother. He claims after retirement, he does not make the same income, and should not have to make the same payments.

Nancy gets into what she calls his string of businesses that he is reported to have, and one of her guests talks about him having had supposedly having a history of a "mental illness—social anxiety disorder." What it has to do with payments, who knows? Several obvious issues are in play, besides the one of responsibility. However, is this too logical---when you are changing jobs or moving from a certain income level to a lesser level, doesn’t the parent go into court and say in the beginning, “I can’t afford these payments?” I don't know what his situation was, because I have not followed his story.

No one knows all the financial details, but they had some of his financial information on supersoakerstyle blast. It looked like snippets of an annual report statement up on the screen. I mean WOW. I must really be out of the loop, because I thought people stopped having so many kids-here-there-everywhere. Anyway, a whole lotta dynamics are working this issue. Listen to audio clip

DNA-Kit-Main-1.gifTwo drugstores, Rite-Aid and Meijer drugstores now carry a home DNA paternity test, which can be purchased over the counter. This is sure to cut into Maury Povich’s bookings, as people will be able to save themselves embarrassment, and test multiple partners if needed, to find the daddy.

The kit sold by Identigene, can be purchased over the Internet or in stores and retails nationally for $29.99 (plus an additional $119 lab fee--cheek swab specimens collected from the alleged father and child). This is a good thing, like home pregnancy tests, and the results should be verified through a reputable testing lab. I can also see people testing children without the “other” parent’s consent or knowledge….hhhmmm

1melissadean.jpgI saw that story of that 33 year old mom, Melissa Dean, with four badazz teenage boys, out of Ocala, Florida, who went on strike. She looks 54 years old. Life is really taking a toll on her. But it looks like she tried to reach out on numerous occasions to law enforcement to get so help with those kids. I saw them cursing out and harassing the news cameraman.

I just want to know where is the father and why is he NOT charged with neglect? The day when a law is passed where ANY man who walks away from his children gets charged with neglect and abandonment could not come soon enough. As a society, what are we waiting for? It's time. And that goes for women who walk away also.
