kells cartoon.JPGIn the cross examination of the alleged victim's former childhood best friend of 10 years, Simha Jamison, AP reports:

"Adam also showed pictures of a shirtless Kelly and asked Jamison how she knew it was his body on the video. "His head was attached to it," she responded, drawing laughter from several jurors."

Four witnesses including, the childhood best friend Simha, her father, the aunt and uncle of the alleged victim testified.

"She testified that she and her friend visited Kelly at his recording studio and at a Chicago basketball court dozens of times, starting when they were around the age of 12.

Her friend first introduced her to Kelly as "her godfather," Jamison said, adding that the singer frequently gave her friend cash gifts -- "no less than $100 and no more than $500."" READ MORE...

Although it is too premature to tell, it's looking more like the old duck theory just may be proven.

kai leigh harriott.jpgA true testament about forgiveness. This is not the first time Kai Leigh Harriott has forgiven shooter Anthony Warren. When he was sentenced, I remember her saying she forgave him. She was just a baby, and her mom, had not reached that level of readiness for forgiveness.

At that time, I did not give Kai Leigh enough credit, because my thought was: She's young and does not understand the full implications of her disability, and may grow to be quite angry one day. My anger was overwhelming. I was wrong. She still holds forgiveness in her heart and is old enough to understand what has taken place.

A stray bullet shot by Warren struck Kai Leigh in her spine when she was 3 years old and paralyzed her. Warren said he only intended to scare two women when he recklessly fired those shots in Dorchester, MA, which forever changed this young angel’s life. It seems as if this happened not so long ago. anthonywarren.jpg

Warren videotaped an apology in an interview conducted by the Center for Teen Empowerment, which produced this documentary called “Voices From Behind the Wall,” a video on inmates at Old Colony Correctional Center. Warren is serving a 13 to 15 year sentence there for the crime. Back then, I remember seeing her in the wheelchair, so easily forgiving of the person who stalled her childhood and robbed her of her physical abilities. More senseless gun violence. WATCH VIDEO

Blogger and Memphis talk radio personality, Thaddeus Matthews has received much heat for the posting pictures of Shindri Roberson’s corpse photos on his website, including what I suspect was a face shot of the body judging by this statement on his blog “As you look at the picture of Shindri Roberson you can see the fright in her face ( Which has been removed) as she died a tragic death.” It has been reported that the pictures were taken at the funeral home without the knowledge of the funeral home service.

Some readers were in favor of him posting the pictures and for those who are ready to tan his hide, his response to some of the comments:

“Thaddeus Augustus Matthews said...
9:45 No one supplied me with the pics, I went to the Funeral home and took them myself. While you may disagree with them posted. this community needs to see the horror of what has happened in this city.”

What do you think? Should the photo reality of this crime be publicized?

Shindra was one of the six Memphis, Tennessee victims including children either killed, tortured and left to die, and are in critical condition. The devil-animal (Jessie L. Dotson) who is alleged to have done this has been captured & caged like the wild animal he is (IF he did it), and was just recently released from prison after serving a 14 year sentence. I am sorry, but the perpetrator of this crime deserves Third World justice. CHILDREN AREN'T OFF LIMITS ANYMORE. Kids survived brutal attack

I say it always takes at least one courageous person with a vision. This is something you'd expect the federal government to design, create, and deploy out into drug infested neighborhoods. I discovered the cable real homicide investigation show First 48 last fall and I thought is was a new show. One weekend I watched a 4-hour marathon of the show. Apparently, it has been airing for a few years. I just started getting back into watching shows outside of news talk programs. For those who have never seen it, it starts out with a crime scene and the homicide investigators work on the crime for 48 hours. Either they solve the crime or they do not. Last night another show premiered call Crime 360? I watched that one too.

After watching these First 48 shows about 4 episodes a week, I thought I’d take a break from watching them, because it is as equally depressing as it is horrifying to know that there are so many of us killing each other, just because “we were there.” Slaughtering is taking place in most cases for no motive or during the commission of a robbery or a verbal dispute, and this problem is widespread.

Today, people do not think twice about looking someone in the eye and pumping bullets into someone’s head. No remorse. No feelings. Nothing. “Witnesses” don’t see or hear anything. When the perpetrators are being interrogated, break down, confess, and realize they are looking at 25 years+ behind bars; only then, the tears start to flow. Is that the FIRST time they actually thought about their actions and the full consequences? How did we get to this state? I don’t have the answer. Young men are desensitized to killing and the notion of dying. These are scary realties.

1simmie.jpgAccording to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel:

"Simmie Williams Jr., 17, was attacked on the 1000 block of Sistrunk Boulevard by two young men who wore dark clothing and might live in the neighborhood, police said. Williams, who was wearing a dress and was known in the area by his first name or as "Chris" or "Beyonce," ... READ MORE

Because Williams was wearing a dress, the case is being investigated as a possible hate crime.

Check out his commentary and real life photos of Rwanda, its absolutely beautiful people, and genocide remnants. Read his entry below the map. Ethnic conflicts are just as bad or even worse than racial conflicts experienced here in America, and elsewhere around the world. http://bachersblog.com/

Adam writes on his blog:

"In April 1994, one million human beings were brutally slaughtered over 100 days in the small African country of Rwanda. This genocide was of overwhelming proportions, orchestrated by a radical political party that seized control of the Rwandan government. The loss of human life was a tragedy in its own right. A second tragedy concurrently unfolded - the rest of the world knowingly turned its back on Rwanda after the genocide began and chose not intervene. It could have been stopped, by the United Nations, the United States, France, Belgium. The genocide went on for three months until a small rebel army, led by Rwanda’s current president Paul Kagami, was able to take control of the country.

This sounds very suspicious. Did forensics find gunpowder on the baby's hands and clothing? Very interesting story. Why is a loaded gun accessible to a baby? So many questions. A 22-year-old man was reportedly shot in the forehead, and killed by a toddler who picked up a loaded gun, which was resting on a table in a Brunswick, Ga studio. Curtis Gabriel Collins 22 years old was an aspiring rapper. READ MORE...
