I spotted a MOOSE on the highway!

I was driving along the highway yesterday morning and saw this huge animal resting on the side of the road on my passenger side. As I approached, I noticed it was a moose. It had a rack of antlers, if that's what you call them on a moose, and the creature was taller than my car while it was resting on its side. This is not the same one, but I am quite sure it is the same size. I have never seen a moose in person, not even at the local zoo.

But I have driven to New Hampshire and there are tons of moose crossing signs like you see deer crossing signs in upstate New York. I think this one may have wandered down from New Hampshire? But for those who don't know--when you see a moose crossing sign, slow up. Because if your car runs into one of these, say your prayers. I spotted this photo on Flickr.
