CURFEW imposed on Hartford teens

Violence broke out after last Saturday's Hartford, Connecticut West Indian Day parade which left a 21 year old dead, a toddler shot in the leg and a 7 year old suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. I attended this parade last year and did not go this year, but a friend went and said it occurred after he left.

As a result or all of this nonsense, mayor Eddie Perez has imposed a 30 day 9 pm curfew for all teens under 18. How about making this permanent, better yet, making it a nationwide policy in problem areas?

The curfew will begin this Thursday and anyone under 18 years old, caught on the streets after 9 pm without a parent or guardian, will be detained and taken to a community center where a parent or guardian will have to pick them up. READ MORE... WATCH VIDEO

When will we learn that guns are evil? How violent will the USA get? I am disgusted. I was born in CT and now I am afraid to even come home to visit the place. It's like a war zone.

We can thank Pres. Bush for destroying the US economy and making people so desperate they have to steal and kill to survive.
