Things people search for…

Periodically I check the keywords analysis of the website statistics service I subscribe to, and it lets me know what phrases and words people search on search engines such as Google, which land them onto this site. Some of the phrases are just downright hilarious. Then there are the freaky deaky searches. Some are alarming. Then there are some that I stumble over and have an initial passing thought…sometimes funny and at other times serious.

Here are a few of the most recent search phrases (not spellchecked) and my .02 cents.

“black american traveling to meet my nigerian inlaws for the very first time”I say just be yourself and don’t feed into stereotypes, and be prepared to share some of your family culture and traditions with them. In addition, if you are not a professional athlete, celebrity actor, singer, or rapper---don’t go over there putting on fronts as if you are…lol(j/k).

“How many kids do you have to have to be exempt from paying child support”I can’t believe someone is searching for the answer to this, as if the MORE you have the LESS obligated you are to pay child support. HA! TAKE CARE OF YOUR KIDS!!!! LOL

“what kind of glue do i use for hair weaves” Elmers

“pricture of africans in need” One question: Does one have to be full African, because I will be the posterchild for need if needed...wanna send some funds this way...lol? Alternatively, just visit any urban area.

“typical angry black woman”
I don’t know a group of typical angry black women. I have to think about this one.

“young men' in tight pants”
“singer” Omarion

“name of all nba player womens”
You want girlfriends, “friends,” etc, etc. or just the head of the household--the one in charge?
