NBA star's million dollar pool

DC Sports Bog has purported photos of Gilbert Arena's supposed million dollar swimming pool. If he just signed a $111 million contract, I guess a mill on a pool is like dropping a penny into a bucket.

I am shaking my head just a little bit, but it looks like a magnificent place for an escape after working hard, running up and down the courts. My feelings are a bit mixed on this one, because if I had that kind of money, I can't say I wouldn't splurge on something like this. Right NOW, since I don't, I'd say I wouldn't, but who knows?

I am still laughing my &^% off at the "tank in the basement will have a recess with a couch" description. Sounds like he is building a bachelor's pad underneath that pool. lol. These are rumored details on the pool specifications from the blog:


*The stone for the "mountain" cost nearly half a million dollars.

* There are three different fish tanks, one going in the "grotto," one in the front hall, and one in the basement. Their normal retail price would have been about another half-million.

* The tank in the basement will have a recess with a couch in it so Gil can "relax and look up at the fish."

* The work is scheduled to be finished in August. READ MORE...
