Man charged with illegal dumping in Jamaica

I was reading the Jamaica Star newspaper and there was this news caption “Charged for Unloading in the Bushes.” A person standing in front of bushes unloading his gun for fun was the first thing that came to my mind. LOL. Was I surprised. There was a Bahamian man, I think he was a construction worker identified as Angelio Eligato, and police noticed him in the bushes stooping down.

When they came close upon him, they noticed he was defecating in the bushes, close to a main road and arrested him. Poor guy, maybe the port-a-pottie was in use. But when you gotta go, you gotta go. There was no photo of the crime scene (the location), to tell whether or not he was in a secluded area, but if he was…come on…arrest the guy? Maybe he should have been more discreet.

It seems like we have fewer rest stops than ever on the roads here in the U.S. I cannot imagine being arrested for answering nature’s call. But I wonder if he had been caught urinating would he face similar charges? Get this: Eligato was charged with violating the Solid Waste Act. I would love to get my hands on this Act to read. Wonder what kind of party the welcoming committee has planned for him back home in the Bahamas…lol.

How do you explain this one in court? What's the defense and I wonder if there will be a trial?
