Friday Flix: Mad Hot Ballroom
This is a good documentary which I happened to see at the movie theatre a few years ago when it was released. You will really enjoy watching a group of New York City elementary kids who learn how to ballroom dance then enter a citywide competition. What a charming film and it is heartwarming to watch these kids evolve. WATCH FILM
I always thought this should be a program offered in every school including high school and recently ran into a news article on how the program may be going national. Kids really need their horizons expanded. READ ARTICLE...

I haven't seen this, but I read about it. I'll have to catch it. I think that the concept is wonderful. And as one ballroom dancer who respects the value of the art, I say its a good thing.
