Barack Obama Rap

| | Comments (0)

I had to bring this one back after what this guy has being going through. Reese Hopkins of WRKO made this "My Name's Barack Obama I Came to Bring the Drama" rap song. It is comedy. So don't take it seriously.

Just when I was sick of hearing about Rev. Wright, even whining, Reese comes up with a Rev.Wright remix. Oprah's vocals are thrown in the mix of it all. Follow the jump to listen to the remix. I don't know why, but Vanilla Ice crosses my mind everytime I hear this song. Listen to the audio here if you can't open YouTube.

I like the organ beat, but the Rev. Wright soundbites weren't mixed in effectively (not that I know any technical aspects of mixing...lol). Seems like they were just thrown in there with no purpose, and the song probably would have been better without the Rev's bites.

In summary, the original is better, but the remix with the organ beats makes the 2nd song funnier, and I think liking or disliking this one may be contingent upon your fancy of, or disdain for the ole Rev.

Here is the audio if you can't watch YouTube.
