Anthony Hall is a lawyer, syndicated columnist, and the author of The Ipinions Journal wrote an open letter, dated March 8, 2008, addressed to The Rt. Hon. Gordon Brown, UK Prime Minister regarding an “inquiry into good governance in the Turks and Caicos Islands”. He wrote on behalf of the people of T & C on concerns over Premier Misick whom he characterized as an “incompetent, autocratic and kleptocratic” ruler.

He complained that the Premier’s budgeting priorities were affecting supply of water and electricity, education, Infrastructure development and repair. He also alleged $10 million was set aside for a grand prix race track which will generate insignificant revenues and won’t benefit the people of the country.

Hall makes further claims: “We have grave concerns about our Premier’s judgment because he and the members of his kitchen cabinet blithely flaunt their millionaire lifestyles. Especially since there is widespread (reasonable) suspicion that they acquired their sudden wealth from unethical, if not illegal, insider dealings in Crown Lands and the embezzlement of public funds.” Read More...

In this video, the Premier addresses the British Foreign Committee Investigation which was back in December. He basically states the procedures are routine checks in which not only T&C goes through, but other British territories experience too.

LisaRaye McKoy-Misick is slated to appear in the upcoming production, The Black Man's Guide to Understanding Black Women.

Shelia,

He has quite an impressionable resume, and he's handsome, accomplished, and appears to be everything you'd want in an eligible bachelor. I don't know what the verdict is on this one, but I hope none of it is true.
