Brazil's Missing Millions

One year ago, pilots were transporting cash for a bank when their fatal plane crash in a Brazilian village, Maracangalha, caused a scatter of over $3 Million dollars, which was stolen on the ground. Some locals took the money, and only 10 percent of the money has been recovered.

The money brought much trouble to the local residents prompting thugs to come looking for some of the recipients, to extort money. One person was killed.

Today, almost a year after the incident, a man interviewed in the film, said the money was a curse on the village, because of all of the trouble it created. Would you have taken any of the money?
