Essence Interviews Nicole Paultre Bell, slain Sean Bell's fiancée

The NY police shooting trial of Sean Bell is taking place and during a court recess, Essence was able to get an interview with his would be wife and mother of his two children, Jada, 4, and Jordyn, 1.
Excerpts from the interview:

Essence.com: From the beginning you’ve always said that you’re not angry at the officers. But have you been able to forgive them for what happened?

Paultre Bell: I don’t think I’ve reached that point yet. Every day I have to look at my children’s faces and know that their father was taken away from them. My daughters have to one day have a Sweet Sixteen and a wedding, and they have no father to be there with them. That’s very hard. And it’s something that should not have happened.
