reggae in Japan

| | Comments (1)

Reggae/dancehall music is phenomenally huge in Japan. Here's an all male Japanese dance crew. They are performing Jamaican dances to dancehall music. They're fun to watch, and I only heard one bad word in the music, around 4:23 & 4:35. LOL, I keep getting flashbacks of the blues brothers (dressed in white), but only the Japanese version for some reason, if there is such a thing. What a beautiful thing to see the Japanese embrace something which represents one aspect of black culture.
