Naomi Campbell hospitalized in Brazil

Supermodel (or is it former?) Naomi had emergency surgery to remove a cyst. Since when do we need to know so much of the detail, especially when a woman has surgery which may have been gynecologic in nature?

When I see phrases like "Brazil’s leading experts in the treatment of infectious diseases" or "Campbell underwent successful emergency abdominal surgery, gynecologist Jose Aristodemo Pinotti told" it does make the imagination wander, and I can only guess what some of the major gossip blog speculation will be in the morning.

This article says just enough not to tell everything, and I am wondering if she had such a procedure done in the U.S. would we even know she may have had female surgery.
