AND THE WINNER IS…..Grammy Nods are Out

The 50th Grammy Awards nominees list is out. No big surprises again. A predictable yawn. Here are some notables…uh, usual suspects, Beyonce, Kanye, some new ones- Amy Winehouse, Rihanna, blah, etc., blah, etc. Should Amy Winehouse be rewarded?

8 Nods- Kanye West
6 Nods- Amy Winehouse
5 Nods- Foo Fighters, Jay-Z, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, T-Pain
4 Nods- Akon, Dierks Bentley, Chris Daughtry, Feist, Tim McGraw, John Newton, Ne-Yo, Rihanna, Bruce Springsteen

I knew a Marley would be in the reggae category, rightfully so, for Stephen's “Mind Control” CD, Bob’s sons are true talents, but it seems as if literally a only a handful of reggae artists can get Grammy nods. There is SO MUCH reggae out here.
