Hip hop's Murder Inc. head honcho Irv Gotti, responsible for Lloyd, Ja Rule and Ashanti's success, recently did an interview with an AP reporter and he has a reality show airing on VH1. It's apparent that he loves his wife and family dearly, but perhaps not enough to remain monogamous and committed to his marriage and family unit. He talks about his comeback career, Ja Rule and his straying ways. Why has she not headed to divorce court already?
Maybe a change gone come soon? I'm just sayin'.....

In this interview:
"AP: Are you worried that your wife is going to see you on camera with other women?
Gotti: I told Deb, when Deb kicked me out of the house, let's just get it out there. I was a cheating bastard. ... When she kicked me out it was funny because there was a lot of hatred that she had towards me. It was no good. After she kicked me out, I told her, "You placed your bet. You placed your bet once you kicked me out that I wouldn't survive and function without seeing my kids and waking up because I love ... my kids." I grew accustomed once I was out of the house because I was working so much. It was like seeing them just on the weekends was almost the same thing as when I was living there. Me and her developed a friendship and once we developed a friendship, I confessed. It was like a cleansing period. I told her every crazy thing that I did and it was no more lies.
AP: What is your relationship like with your wife?
Gotti: It is confusing because if you ask me, I would do anything for Deb. If she needed my kidneys I would take a knife and cut me open and hand it to her. If she needed a body part I would give it to her. If a car was coming to hit her, I would jump in front of it just to stop (it) so it wouldn't hit her. If you ask me if I can stop (cheating) ... Yo ... (laughs) ... it's just honest. It's like, what are you to do? Me and her have developed such a cool friendship. She is like my man. She is like Ja. She is like my brother. That's my man and I would never hurt my man knowing I'm going to hurt him." READ MORE...

HE SOUNDS LIKE A FREAKIN IDIOT, DEB Should go find her a real man. Because he is a big dumb jerk. With a little doe. He doesn't realize how much of an idiot he looks and sounds. THIS IS COMING FROM An AFRO-AMERICAN WOMAN. After seeing his show I fell in love with Deb and pray she finds her sense and get out there and get her life in order and stop depending on this fool and find her someone that will be there for her emotionally. Because her daughter is old enough that she can watch her two brothers while she's out there on the grind getting her life in order. Possibly going to school and getting some type of skill and making sure Gotti pays her child support. I pray for her and that is all I have to say.

I started catching it at the end, because someone told me it was a good reality show to watch about relationships.
Yes, that Deb, appeared to be very strong and determined at some points on the show, but on the other hand, she's afraid to let go of the "what if's" as if she was waiting for this guy to change. Irv seems like a guy who will never change. And he makes no apologies for this.
My guess is during the airing of the show, some decent men who saw the show, reached out to her. Are they still together?
watched tonights show with tears in my eyes. I am so hurt that Deb would continue to allow a man to disrespect her and the kids on national tv. He is not interested in being married and she deserves so much more. He lack character and I will not support any of his future endeavors. Irv is arrogant and I am glad the feds took him down. I couldnt believe his parents raised such a terrible man who lacks so much character. His father is a terrible role model and his mother wants Deb to end up just like her for the sake of the children. Is it just me but I thought marriage was built on honesty, integrity, faithfulness, etc not the children being happy. I was sick to my stomach when the father told Deb to work out an arrangement with Irv to be happy. As if she deserves for washed up CEO who suffers from a napaleon complex has the right to be unfaithful and disrespect. Deb if you continue to allow Irv to treat you like this you will end up with AIDS because any woman that would lie down with a dog like IRV is definately a flea bag. Dont get blindsided by his weekend dad routine, our his parents bogus marriage because you deserve to be with a man who loves and respects you and thinks you were special enough to keep his small ~@_~__)%+^+_@%++# in his pants. Who has more respect for a woman besides her being a great cook and freak of all freaks in the bed. Dont let his insecurities affect you or continue to tear down your self esteem. If the shoe was on the other foot he would not sit back and allow you to date or sleep with every tom, &^^`+&$%@)&!#^&* and harry
