Once again we are privileged to be treated to an all Williams Wimbledon grand slam tennis final. Dad Richard won't be around. He is flying back home since he cannot bear to watch both sisters play in the finals. They are both headed for the ladies doubles sem-finals also and have a strong chance at winning that title. Check out the prize money list below.

AP reports:

"Richard Williams said Serena persuaded him to stick around for that doubles match. But he'll get on a plane Saturday, making sure to remind the pilots not to tell him who wins singles final. How will he find out which daughter is this year's Wimbledon champion?

Not from TV. Or the Internet. Or by checking their Twitter feeds.

No, he'll find out the way he does every time one of his kids claims a Grand Slam championship: He'll read the sign that his neighbors in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., always post on the gate of their house--"Congratulations, Venus!" or "Congratulations, Serena!"" READ MORE...

I want Serena to win, but I give Venus the slight edge. With these two it is SO difficult to pick one over the other.

Brother Jermaine in a heartfelt interview letting his feelings out on the situation. I was in Rochester, NY over the weekend and heard nothing but Michael Jackson, wall-to-wall music on 104 WDKX. I could not believe how many songs this man has published. I know people are in overload with the coverage. But hey, it's Michael Jackson. What would you expect?

Why are all of these other people coming out of the woodwork with Michael's *secrets*? So irritating. I partly blame it on reality tv. You have to wonder, how many of them are hoping to get a little 15 minutes of fame? What is their motive?

More reasons licenses should be distributed before people are allowed to have children:

Woman left newborn in portable toilet, police say
NO EXCUSE for this s&^%. Should someone drop her a%$ off in a an outhouse? Too many people want children. This woman could have dropped this kid off at a firehouse or a hospital.

Pet Python Strangles Child, Officials Say
Why does someone have a python in the home of a child. The baby was 2 years old. The owner did not have a permit to have the *pet* and the snake was placed in a home of someone with a permit. Why was not the damn thing destroyed?

The lone survivor, a teen named Bahia Bakari was ejected from a plane into the Indian Ocean en route to France. So far, lately, we have had two planes crash which were headed to France. Imagine falling out of the sky, barely able to swim, and hearing voices of people taking their last breath in the Indian Ocean. If she could hear people talking: Imagine others who survived and drowned, simply, because they could not swim. Truly a miracle.

CNN reports: "Passengers on the flight included 66 French citizens, 54 Comorians, one Palestinian and one Canadian, according to Yemeni and French officials. The crew was made up of six Yemenis, two Moroccans, one Ethiopian, one Filipino and one Indonesian."

CNN:

"The teen's father, Kassim Bakari, told a French radio network that his wife and daughter were flying to Comoros to visit relatives.

"When I had her on the phone, I asked her what happened and she said, 'Daddy, I don't know what happened, but the plane fell into the water and I found myself in the water ... surrounded by darkness. I could not see anyone,'" Bakari told France Info.

The head of the rescue team in the Comoros told French radio RTL that the teenager survived astonishing odds to survive.

"It is truly, truly, miraculous," said Ibrahim Abdoulazeb. "The young girl can barely swim."

Another rescuer told France's Europe 1 radio the girl was spotted in the rough sea among bodies and plane debris in darkness about two hours after the crash. "

While we're trying to decide tough life altering decisions such as whether we want fries to go with our shake or which pair of shoes we should buy to match the clothes we just bought or whether you were upset because someone offended you, another brave American soldier has gone missing in Afghanistan. I pray he is alright and others involved. Apparently, he went missing Tuesday. I really hate war.

CNN:

"the American and three Afghan soldiers were captured by low-level militants and then quickly "sold" to the clan led by warlord Siraj Haqqani -- believed to be deeply involved in the action.

The Haqqanis operate on both sides of the Afghanistan-Pakistan border and are well known to the U.S. military. They are assembling shuras, or local councils of leaders, to talk and try to "legitimize" what they have done, the official said.

R.I.P. Michael Jackson, King of Pop

Hopefully, no prescription drugs were involved. Gone too soon. I can't believe it. Forever, the original King of Pop.

What is the cost of freedom? R.I.P. all of whom have been massacred. For those whom don't care, because you think "that's them, and not me" or "it doesn't affect my life" you should re-think those positions.

From ThreatsWatch.org by way of SandraRose.com:

"An Iranian blogger (whose URL I will not publish) live blogging from Baharestan Square in central Tehran today captures but brief glimpses of the unimaginable horror that took place today. Bus loads of protesters were stopped and unloaded from their buses by "black-clad police" and literally herded. When the massing was sufficient, as the barely controllably distraught Tehran caller to CNN described first hand, hundreds of the regime's Basij thugs poured out of an adjoining mosque and commenced a massacre with axes, clubs, guns and gas.

From the live blogger's eyewitness account:

>More than 10.000 Bassij Milittias get position in Central Tehran, including Baharestan Sq.
>Army Helycopters flying over Baharestan and Vali Asr Sq.
>The streets, squares and around BAHARESTAN (Approx. South-eastern of Tehran) is swarming with military forces, civilian forces, the security motorists
>The croud have moved to the south of baharestan, the situation is bad, the shooting has started
>In Baharestan Sq. in the Police shooting, A girl is shot and the police is not allowing to let them help
>In Baharestan we saw militia with axe choping people like meat - blood everywhere - like butcher

This is the Iranian regime, wading into its own unarmed people and axing them to death, bludgeoning women (seen as the greatest threat to the regime) and throwing them to their deaths from pedestrian bridges. The same Iranian regime whose embassy officials are invited to American embassies around the world to celebrate on July 4th, of all things, a successful revolution."
